Montgomery, AL– The Blanchard for Governor campaign launched two new ads which started on broadcast and cable television today.
In an emailed statement to supporters, gubernatorial candidate Lindy Blanchard promised to cut taxes if she is elected.
“One of the biggest long-term threats to our country is our ballooning debt and deficit,” Blanchard said. “Big spending bills and inflated taxes aren’t just a national problem, they are a problem here in Alabama too.

Blanchard outlined her call for the gas tax’s suspension at the Chevron Gas Station on Lurleen B.

In July 2020, some Republicans took issue with Gov. Kay Ivey’s appointments to judicial vacancies.
At the time, Ivey appointed Jim Naftel, identified by some to be a Democrat, to replace a vacancy left behind by Jefferson County Probate Judge Alan King.
